Abstract

In this paper, we examine the electric Penrose process within the regular Ayón-Beato-García (ABG) black hole (BH) spacetime, a singularity-free solution arising from general relativity coupled to nonlinear electrodynamics. Firstly, we study the dynamics of charged particles around the ABG BH using the Hamilton-Jacobi formalism. After that, we derive the efficiency of the electric Penrose process, and we plot it as a function of the charge Q. It was found that the values of the efficiency increase with the increase of the charge and vice versa for the location of the ionization point. Moreover, we compare the results with those for Reissner-Nordström (RN) BH.
